(1) According to Rule 11, the company, organization or body that has received a license shall apply to the relevant local body for the renewal of the license in the format as per schedule-3, six months before the expiry of the license period, with the application as specified by the local body.

(2) In relation to the application submitted according to sub-rule (1), the local body should make a decision three months before the deadline.

(3) According to sub-rule (1) The local body can renew the permit after investigating the application received.

(4) If the permit is not renewed within the period specified in sub-rule (1) or if the permit is not renewed, the permit shall be considered canceled from the date of expiry. In the case of non-renewal of the permit, the local body should proceed with the necessary actions related to the permit for waste management three months before the expiration date.
